The ribbon is cut by: Andy Delgado of CCEO, Karen Bennett-Green of Century Housing Corp., Maria Cerdes of Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas’ Office, and Robert Mejia of the SBWIB.

Thank you supporters, enthusiasts, and attendees for helping to make the ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening of the SEED House a great success! Many came out to help us celebrate, including Lennox community members, South Bay homeowners, political representatives, building and construction contractors, and industry trainers.

Though the ribbon-cutting focused on the development of the SEED House, the event was a great opportunity to showcase all that CCEO has to offer, including our YouthBuild, Weatherization, and Gateways to Green Building programs, as well as the on-site community garden. Everyone was raving about the salsa and bruschetta, made with ingredients from the garden – it didn’t last long!
Thank you again to the following supporters for helping to make the SEED House and ribbon-cutting ceremony possible: Wells Fargo, US Bank, Century Housing Corp., South Bay Workforce Investment Board, YouthBuild, LifeSource Water, Living Green Design Solutions, The Home Depot Inglewood, Jeanette Paredes Photography, D.J. Mario, Nularis, A.C. Catering, and Starbucks. For a full list of our supporters, please visit our supporters page. For more info on how to contribute, please see our donate page. Thanks!
